We met many years ago when we both worked at the original Momofuku Ko on 1st Ave in the East Village. It was a very small, magical, and intimate tasting menu restaurant. Josh was a chef there and I was a server. We really got along well but weren’t necessarily the kind of friends who hung out outside of work.
