How We Met
Brett and Mairead spent their first summer together falling in love in McGolrick Park. It was the summer of 2020, which meant that weekends were spent outside on the picnic blanket - reading, napping, snacking, drinking, drawing etc.
The Proposal
Two years later, while enjoying a Sunday in the park, Brett gave Mairead a book he’d made - filled with paintings of sweet memories over the years. The final page was Brett’s hands holding a ring. Completely surprised, Mairead turned to Brett, who proposed, pulling a ring out of his pocket.
Little did Mairead know, Brett spent the past several months working with Olivia and Mairead’s best friend (code name Kev in Brett’s phone) to create Mairead’s dream ring.
