How We Met
We met through mutual friends in Texas and had known each other a couple years before we started dating. At first, we were just hanging out in groups, bumping into each other by chance, crossing paths in the same circles without much thought. Somehow both slowly and suddenly, it shifted. Group texts turned into one-on-one FaceTimes, the conversations stretched late into the night, and before we knew it, we were talking all the time and every moment - good or bad - was something that we wanted to share with each other.
The Proposal & Rings
We moved to Greenpoint a little over 3 years ago with our two dogs Frankie and Cleo, and we have built an incredible life together. It only felt right to have our rings made here in the neighborhood —and we feel like it was meant to be that Olivia and Sue have also built their business right here in Greenpoint too. Jess’s ring is made with a honey diamond, which we love for its warm, golden glow. Michael’s ring is made with a bi-color sapphire, changing colors depending on the light. Michael planned a whole day of all our favorite things around our neighborhood and proposed at our favorite local coffee shop (shoutout Larry’s Ca Phe!).
