Eliza & Jeremy

"When she turned back, she found him on one knee with the camera in one hand and the ring in the other. It took her a moment to realize what was happening. Then she gasped, and Jeremy snapped the photo. It was the easiest and happiest yes."

Eliza & Jeremy

How We Met

Jeremy and Eliza met in 2020, just as the city was heading into lockdown. With nowhere to go and nothing to do, they made the only responsible decision: getting on Hinge. Despite the initial long-distance setup from Bushwick to Washington Heights, they quickly formed a strong connection through their shared love of music, travel, and nature.

The Ring

After four years together, they began talking about engagement rings and what felt right for them. They knew they wanted something simple, classic, and personal. They had a vision: an oval-shaped center stone with side stones. After discovering Goldpoint, not far from their home together in Brooklyn, the couple met with the team, including Jojo, and worked together to bring the design to life. From that first visit, they knew they had found the right jeweler. The final ring features a setting with two side stones on each side, gradually growing from small circles to medium ovals to the large center stone.

The Proposal

In February 2025, the couple traveled to the United Kingdom for a quick trip to visit family. The day before they left, Jeremy got the notification that the ring was ready. He rushed to pick it up and tucked it into his suitcase, planning to surprise Eliza during the trip.

While driving through the countryside on a day trip, they pulled over to take some photos. Jeremy had Eliza pose as he set up the shots. He asked her to turn around while he reached into his pocket. When she turned back, she found him on one knee with the camera in one hand and the ring in the other. It took her a moment to realize what was happening. Then she gasped, and Jeremy snapped the photo. It was the easiest and happiest yes.
