How We Met

Nik and Miranda met while studying abroad in Rome in 2016. After the semester finished, we forgot to stop talking. Ten years, three cities, and one adorable dog later, we will be getting married in 2026.

The Ring

Nik originally proposed with Miranda's mother's engagement ring, which we refashioned along with two pairs of earrings into the current piece. All of the diamonds had once belonged to someone else in the family (or in some cases, multiple people) with the center stone originating with Miranda's great-great-grandmother. As corny as it sounds, it was important to us that these heirlooms were treated with care and love, and Goldpoint quickly became the obvious choice. Supporting a local, woman-owned, ethically run business was the icing on the cake.
