I told my mother that Patrick and I had been recently popping in different jewelry stores in the area to gather a taste of what we might like for rings one day.
She said I have something for you and went upstairs and came back with a bifold with papers and a letter envelope. Digging in the letter envelope came out two one-carat Diamond stud earrings - one for me, one for my sister left by my grandmother, Nedra. She left each of the 5 granddaughters a diamond each. I started to draw up ring ideas the following weeks and was enthralled to create something to honor this “nod”.
